  1. OMGosh. I have to watch this, if for no other reason than the retro set. I'm off to see it now. Thanks for sharing this, dear.

  2. I used to watch these 50's movies all the time as a kid. They were always shown on tv on Sundays. Butt I don't think I've seen this one. I will have to check it out and see. Hugs-Erika

    1. We never seem to get past our fear of the other. I didn't see most of these when I was little. I seem to remember it being mostly horror and monster movies on tv. This one was fun.

  3. I love that they blasted off in a spaceship with rooms in recliners!! And stuck the dead guy down a manhole space chute. This was so campy. BUT--it IS what I grew up watching. You can tell we were a decade away from putting a man on the moon when they made this. Was fun! :)

    1. Oh, and wearing one-piece work clothes like a repairman might wear. Giggles!! What a hoot!

    2. They get some of it right, but so much of it is so off. I enjoy them, tho. They are so _serious_, and the gender roles are so 50s.

    1. Well, it's a far cry from "great" ;) but I sometimes get a kick out of the old ones.
