  1. Great post, I loved seeing the photo montage! I have very fond memories of Memphis, it is an amazing place to visit :-) . It is steeped in music history and I remember the delicious barbecue meals we had too! Thanks for the memories, Happy Friday and wishing you a great weekend! J :-)

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed Memphis :) We do have a lot of history here, and I love our bbq. We have so many bbq places that I haven't been to them all lol

  2. My fondest memories are of Mud Island and Beale Street. I also enjoyed the Pink Palace with its Piggly Wiggly Store and dinosaurs. I didn't stay that long in Memphis, but I really loved what I saw. And you often bring Memphis to life in your blog, which always pleases me. LOVED the montage honoring Lonnie Mack, today.

    1. Beale Street is popular with tourists, and to be honest I like going there, too. I don't get out much at night, but it's a fun place in the daytime, too :) I grew up going to the Pink Palace and took my kids often as they were growing up. The museum system has so much to offer! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
