Dog Soldiers

The Younger Son offered me a choice between Dog Soldiers and Predator, and I picked Dog Soldiers for yesterday afternoon. It has Sean Pertwee in it, so I knew I'd like it. This is a 2002 British horror film about a group of soldiers who comes under attack while involved in a training exercise. This movie was great fun.

trailer:

BBC admires the comic touches and gives it 4 out of 5 stars. DVD Talk highly recommends it. Moria says,
as a no-punches-held-back, no pretensions piece of visceral horror, Dog Soldiers is rather enjoyable. ... and the film rarely ever slows down...
Weird Wild Realm says,
for violent exploitation cinema, Dog Soldiers is an exciting werewolf film with convincing performances, more than adequate werewolf design & FX, believable dialogue, & a black sense of humor that does not interfer with the suspense.
